Personalized Competency-based Education

Competency-based education (CBE) is an educational approach that focuses on students mastering specific skills or knowledge areas, known as competencies, rather than merely spending a set amount of time in class.  CBE allows for individualized learning paths. Students move forward at their own pace, advancing through material as they prove their understanding and skills.

Competencies are designed to align with real-world skills and job requirements, making learning more relevant and applicable to students' future careers.

Self-Directed Education

About 30% of our students qualify for a self-directed education pathway. This means students have flexibility for blending their learning at home and at school. Qualifications are determined based on student performance and parent involvement.
