Davis Tech Partnership

Do you feel ready to take on the real world beyond a desk in a classroom? 

Explore your options and learn more about the college program you could complete in high school.

Career Path High students in 11th and 12th grade must enroll in a Career and Technical Program through Davis Tech. 

Why? All Utah high school students must earn one CTE credit and five and a half elective credits, but as a Career Path High student you’ll have the benefit earning a college Career & Technical Certification at the same time. Because you need these credits to graduate, and Career Path High ONLY offers these credits in partnership with Davis Tech, you must enroll in a program. 

Career Path High students attend Davis Tech tuition free. 

An annual $40 registration charge is covered in yourCareer Path High fees. 

Most programs do have additional fees, including supplies and consumable learning materials.

Credit is awarded based off of 30 hour increments. You may notice that your schedule indicates a certain number of hours for you to complete your course. Classes are generally going to be 30, 60, 90 or 120 hours. However, there will be some outliers. Regardless, credit will still be calculated the same.

      Example: 15 hour course = .125 credit

                     30 hour course = .25 credit

                     45 hour course = .375 credit

                     60 hour course = .5 credit

                     90 hour course = .75 credit

                     120 hour course = 1 credit

Once you complete a course, Davis Tech will post the final grade to your Davis Tech transcript. At the end of each quarter your completed credits will be entered into our ASPIRE system and will appear on your Career Path High transcript.

If you are in the middle of a course when report cards are due, your Davis Tech instructor will submit your grade at the time of submission. However, only your final course grade will appear on your transcript.

Enrollment Steps

1. Registration

Time: About 5 minutes

Need: social security number,  transcript, picture ID, personal email

Register here to obtain a Davis Tech student ID.  Use your personal email. 

Note your student ID and remember the password you've created. 

2. Orientation

Time: About 20 minutes

Need: Link to orientation

The link to student orientation will be sent to the personal email you provided.  

3. Transmittal

Contact Ms. Perkins to set up a meeting.
