Working Together for Student Success

Utah Career Path High regards parental involvement vital to the academic success of students. 

Parents have the right to request and receive information on the qualifications of their child’s teacher. If you have any questions or want more information please contact the school’s principal.

Parents serve as partners with the school in helping their children achieve academic success. In compliance with Title I funding received, Utah Career Path High shall annually: 

  1. Convene an annual meeting.
  2. Involve parents in development of the Title I Schoolwide Plan.
  3. Help build schools’ and parents’ capacity for quality parental involvement. (See Parent and Family Engagement Policy)
  4. Distribute information in a format and language parents can understand.
  5. Distribute, collect, and abide by the School ­Parent Compact that outlines how parents, the entire school staff, and students will share the responsibility for improved student academic achievements.
  6. Provide parents timely information about the following:
    • The importance of involvement
    • Utah state standards
    • Curriculum in use at the school
    • Forms of academic assessment used to measure progress
    • Proficiency levels students are expected to meet
    • Training and resources to assist parents with improving their student’s academic achievement.
