Mrs. Hutchings

Director & Principal

Stacey Hutchings earned her teaching degree at Brigham Young University and her M.Ed. at the University of Utah.  She is a third generation teacher having taught history and Spanish for several years.   She then was a founding faculty member at Utah Virtual Academy where she was the Head of School for 5 years.  Currently she is the Director of Career Path High School located on the campus of Davis Technology College.  

In addition, Stacey has been involved in many community organizations as a former member of the Salt Lake County Library Board, member and chair of the Kearns Town Council, and Director for the Women’s Legislative Council of Utah.  She served an LDS mission in Malaga,  Spain.  She enjoys to travel and most recently has visited France, China and Israel where she has gained a tremendous respect for the power education has to change lives.  

Stacey was appointed by Governor Spencer Cox to the Utah State Board of Education.  She is a Senior Advisor for Secondary Students for Davis Technical College.

Most importantly Stacey is the mother of 4 growing children and loves spending her time with them at their hockey games and synchronized skating events with her husband.
